Who Am I? And Why I Love MENDOZA?

My name is María Eugenia, I am 28 years old and currently live in Mendoza, Argentina. And as you might ask, why do I love the place where I was born? The answer is as simple as it is easy, because here I have everything.

From snow in winter to unbearable heat in a desert climate. Yet at the same time, there are endless ways to cool off in various reservoirs, rivers, or valleys in this province. I present to you “Dique Potrerillos,” a place where you can stay, enjoy views of the mountain and the reservoir, and taste delicious meats and the best wines with an incredible view – with each link below giving you access to the official pages.

What stands out most in tourism is the wine and its wineries, set on some of the best soils for investing and launching wines that rank first worldwide. The experience a tourist enjoys while touring the vineyards, learning the steps of winemaking, tasting local cuisine, and, above all, savoring a great tasting session makes it one of the most important attractions in Mendoza and Argentina. I invite you to discover “El Valle de Uco,” a place made up of three departments of Mendoza (Tunuyán, Tupungato, and San Carlos) where the main attractions are the mountain views, its viticulture, and gastronomy. You can’t miss the opportunity to taste Mendoza wines and try the best Argentine meats if you are visiting.

If you love adventure and nature, then this is for you – you must not miss visiting “San Rafael,” a place where Valle Grande is located. An incredible spot for:
Rafting.
Kayaking.
Paragliding.
Hiking.
Swimming.

Wondering how to get to each place? Mendoza offers public transportation (companies Cata and Andesmar) that will take you by bus from the terminal in the capital to wherever you wish to go. You can also rent cars, book tour packages that include transportation, or use taxis and Uber. To get around the city, every kiosk sells a card called “Sube,” which you can load and travel cheaply by metro.
For exchanging money, currency exchange offices are located at the terminal, airport, or for a better rate at “Galería Caracol” in the heart of Mendoza. I recommend bringing dollars, as due to inflation in this country, they are highly valued along with the euro!
I hope you come soon! Don’t hesitate to experience this.

Regards,
María Eugenia
